PARK RANGERS aka VOLUNTEERS

BEAUTIFICATION & IMPROVEMENT TEAM

These volunteers work tirelessly to beautify the park in variety of incredible ways including landscaping, gardens, and new infrastructure like benches, signs, and other amenities.

CLEAN UP CREW

These incredible volunteers take turns picking up litter, raking the sand for glass and sticks, and reporting fallen trees and damages to the township.

EVENTS AND PROGRAMMING

These volunteers help plan special events, arrange for special guests and workshops, and work to bring you the annual Mouth Park Festival, tentatively starting in the summer of 2022.

NEIGHBOURHOOD BEACH WATCH

Trained by the Ontario Provincial Police, these volunteers take turns visiting the Mouth after hours and reporting to police any improper use like campfires, public drinking, and vandalism.

KID RANGERS CLUB

Kid Rangers are deputized to be special protectors of the Mouth and are given advanced invitation to events, an annual picnic party, a special gift bag of goodies,  certificate, and a real Kid Ranger badge!

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE


FRIENDS OF MOUTH PARK IS A VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY GROUP WORKING WITH THE TOWNSHIP OF SABLES-SPANISH RIVER'S PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND IS LED BY AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Executive members oversee the Friends of Mouth Park organization, support the volunteers, communicate with municipal council and the Parks and Recreation Department, take the lead on projects, promote our successes and express our needs.

GENERAL SUPPORTERS

Life gets busy and free time is at a premium. If you cannot volunteer at this time but want to stay in the loop, be told of special events and potential ways to be involved, let us now!

We are not a registered charity and won't collect donations that sit in an account but projects WILL need business, family, and individual sponsors when the time comes.
